When you add a new employee to your SimplyInsured dashboard, you'll have the chance to enter the date that coverage should become effective. Once you or your employee complete the application, you won't be able to change the effective date on your dashboard. However, we can definitely help you get the effective date changed with your insurance carrier!
You'll just need to send us an email at support@simplyinsured.com with the name of the employee, the date the employee was hired, and the correct health insurance effective date. Please note that for new employees, the effective date will be determined by your group's probationary period.
Note: Some insurance carriers may require proof of your employee's hire date in order to complete the process.
