In order to cancel your plan, you will need to reach out to our Support Team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please send us an email letting us know what date your company is terminating the policy and we will take care of the rest! We will be following up with a form for you to sign verifying this cancellation so please ensure you respond promptly.
It is very important you reach out to us in a timely manner from the date you want your plan(s) canceled. Insurance carriers have strict deadlines on when you can cancel your plan; you can cancel up to 30 days after your desired cancellation date. For example, if you want to cancel your insurance for April 1st, you must notify us before April 30th so we can submit the cancelation on time.
Note: You will receive a refund check directly from your insurance carrier if you made any payments after your cancellation date. Please note, it can take up to 6 to 8 weeks to receive your refund check. If after 8 weeks you have not yet received a refund check in the mail, please reach out to our Support Team for assistance in obtaining a refund.
After your plan cancellation has been submitted by our team, we will close out your SimplyInsured account. If you do decide to offer insurance again in the future, you can go to www.simplyinsured.com and generate a new quote and start the application process again.
