UnitedHealthcare often sends secure emails to members to ensure confidentiality. Do not be alarmed if you receive one. They often contain approval letters or sensitive information about companies or employees.
You will know if you received a secure email because the subject of the email will say "Secure email from firstname.lastname@example.org." To open the message, follow these steps:
- Click on the attachment at the bottom of the email that says "securedoc.html" (This is the secure message)
- Either open the file to view it or save it as a download to your computer. We recommended that you save the file to your computer.
- Enter your password.
Note: If this is your first secure email and you don't have an account, you will need to register and create an account. Then you can follow the steps above to log in.
