If you have recently terminated an employee, you can expect them to be terminated by the effective date you requested. Their insurance will usually run until the end of the month (i.e., if they were terminated on March 15, their insurance coverage will run until March 31).
You can expect the termination to be processed within a week of removing that employee. You may still see that employee on the next bill, as the insurance companies often generate the next month's bill before all terminations are processed. Should that happen, you will see a reimbursement on the following month's bill.
If you don't know where to find the termination date for the employee you removed, you can always check this on your employer dashboard:
Click "Manage Employees" and then view the "Terminated Employees" section.
