After making a plan change, it can take health insurance companies up to 1 to 2 billing cycles to fully process a plan cancellation.
If you paid your health insurance bills manually:
- You can disregard the bill for the month after your confirmed cancellation. There is no further action or payment needed on your behalf.
If you paid your health insurance bills on automated debit:
- If your automatic debit for the month after cancellation has not been withdrawn yet, reach out to our SimplyInsured customer care team to cancel your autopay.
- If an automatic debit was withdrawn from your account, you can expect a refund check in the mail about 1 month after your plan cancellation is fully cancelled to the company address on file.
