When you are added to your company's SimplyInsured account, you will have the option to enroll or decline in health insurance coverage.
If you do not need health insurance through SimplyInsured at this time, it is easy to decline coverage. You will just need to follow these steps in order to complete your waiver:
1) Click "Enroll or Decline" under one of the medical plan options.
2) Then choose "No" for yourself and any dependents. Please note that your dependents cannot enroll in coverage if the employee is not enrolled.
3) You will then need to input your personal details and choose why you are declining coverage for your waiver. If you cannot remember your other insurance information like your ID number, you can input any other text (i.e. "I forgot") to move forward.
4) The last step is to sign the declination waiver - and then you're done!
If you ever need to enroll in the coverage in the future due to a qualifying event or open enrollment, please reach out to the SimplyInsured Customer Care team to re-open your application.
