If you decided to auto-renew:
You will continue with the recommended plan. After clicking the "Stay with Renewal Policy" button, no further action will be required on your end -- our customer care team will be notified and will submit this update to the insurance carrier on your behalf.
If you made changes at renewal:
Our customer care team will submit changes to the carrier on your behalf. Sometimes insurance companies will request additional information like pay tax documents and employee waivers, similar to when you first set up your company's insurance through SimplyInsured.
If you stayed with the same insurance carrier
- Our company's group number will not change and the majority of the time Employee's individual ID numbers will stay the same so they can continue to use their Simplylnsured Mobile ID Card or plastic ID card.
If you switched insurance carriers
- Your employees will receive new ID cards with a different group and individual ID number after the paperwork is completely processed. If your employees need to use coverage during this transition, they can refer to these related articles:

Health insurance companies typically generate bills a month before the bill is due, so it can take 1-2 billing cycles for employee/dependent changes made at renewal to be reflected on your invoice.
Example: Your company switches from a Silver Plan to Bronze Plan for your May renewal. Your monthly invoice is $2000 a month on the Silver Plan and will reduce to $1800 on the Bronze Plan. Because the health insurance company has already generated the invoice for May before any changes were submitted, you receive a bill for $2000. On the June invoice, you will be billed for $1800 and receive a credit for $200 due to the overpayment on the May invoice.
